Candidates for the position of Youth Director Hillel and Ofra Goldstein from Long Beach New York will be with us this Shabbat. In addition to morning services there will be a special program for kids (and parents) at 4:30 Shabbat afternoon at the Shule
Israel’s Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi, Rabbi Yona Metzger [WIKI] will be visiting Edmonton September 4th-8th. The B.I. will be having a Shabbat dinner on September 5th at the Shule. The price is $36.00 for adults and $18.00 for youth. Call the Shul at 780.488.2840 to reserve, or for information about tax deductible sponsorship opportunities.

Falafel Plate Israeli fried chickpea nuggets accompanied by Hummus, cabbage salad, drizzled with Tahini & hot sauce (optional) served with a side of pita. Wrap it up or just dip it!
Latkes potato pancakes served with applesauce
Ruggelach ½ cookie ½ pastry with a delectable, tender dough rolled around a sweet raspberry or chocolate filling. Each portion contains one raspberry and one chocolate ruggelach.
